The SAFE® Tube Laser Marker
The SAFE® Tube Laser Marker is an innovative, fully automated device designed for precise and flexible laser coding of sample tubes. It replaces traditional, unreliable labeling methods—such as handwriting or sticky labels—with a permanent, highly readable, and traceable code. The system is compatible with SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, 48, and 24 formats, and can mark up to 500 tubes per hour from two sides.
The SAFE® Tube Laser Marker (TLM 864) works by receiving coding information created on an external PC. It then uses this data to precisely laser-etch codes onto sample tubes, and can link this new information to the 2D code already on the tube bottom. The device is configured via an integrated touchscreen and automatically detects and processes up to nine SBS/ANSI rack positions. This automation ensures a seamless workflow, allowing for quick and efficient customization of codes to meet specific lab requirements.
